This Privacy Policy explains how HillsTech (we, us, or our) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the MizoProperty mobile application and related services (Service).

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Information you provide directly

Depending on your use and account type, we may collect:

  • account information: name, email address, password (handled through authentication provider), role
  • optional profile information: phone number, profile image
  • listing information: property title, description, price, amenities, photos, videos, address, map coordinates
  • communication data: enquiry and chat messages, scheduling details (for example visit requests), and related metadata
  • support or feedback information you submit to us

1.2 Information collected automatically

We may collect technical and usage information such as:

  • device and app metadata
  • analytics events and engagement signals
  • push notification token(s) for message and update delivery
  • interaction logs needed for app performance and service operations

1.3 Information from integrations

We use third-party service providers, including Firebase and Google Maps related services, to provide authentication, cloud database, storage, notifications, and map features.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • create and manage user accounts
  • display and manage property listings
  • enable user-to-user enquiries and chat
  • send operational alerts and push notifications
  • provide map/location-based discovery features
  • improve functionality, reliability, and user experience
  • detect abuse, fraud, and security issues
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce platform rules

3. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location and applicable law, we process personal information based on one or more of:

  • performance of a contract (providing requested services)

We do not sell your personal information.

  • with other users, when required by the feature (for example contact/chat context and listing details)
  • with trusted service providers (for example Firebase and Google services) that process data on our behalf

  • during business restructuring, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (subject to safeguards)

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for:

  • account and service operations

  • When no longer required, we delete or anonymize data where reasonably practicable.

No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. Therefore, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. App Permissions and Device Features

Depending on your device and usage, the app may request access to:

  • camera and photos/media (for listing uploads)
  • location/map services (for property mapping and discovery)
  • notifications (for message and activity alerts)
  • phone/URL launching capability (for call or messaging redirection)
  • You can control permissions in your device settings. Disabling permissions may limit certain features.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed or stored in countries outside your jurisdiction through our cloud providers. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

10. Children and Minors

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or higher age threshold where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without proper legal basis.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are effective when posted in the app or official documentation channels, unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised policy.
